No Midi clock when plugged directly into Timeline or directly into HX. Timeline is receiving program and control changes, as well as sending MIDI thru to HX when chained.
Seems like that is a small bug where if you toggle into editor mode, the midi clock will stop. However, if you toggle out of editor mode, the midi clock will not start unless you power cycle the MC6.
Can you try power cycling the MC6 without toggling into editor mode? Does it work for you?
We'll release a fix for this in the next couple of days.
You need to turn on the Midi Clock setting in the Strymon global settings
That was the first thing I checked.
What is your MIDI chain like? And what Line 6 and Strymon product are you using?
MC6 > ML5> Strymon Timeline > Line 6 HX Effects.
Try connecting the MC6 directly to the Timeline first, does it work then?
Don't have my board at hand right now, but I will try that as soon as I'm able.

When you connect the MC6 via USB to computer and go to www.midimonitor.com
Do you see any messages?
Can you send your preset settings? Using the preset manager to download. Or a screenshot of your settings for that preset.
Also I'm on newest firmware...and this was happening on previous firmware as well.
Hmm, I don't see a MIDI clock message in your settings. Is it on the second page?
Regarding the preset manager, we'll look into it.
Sorry....it switched to a preset that wasn't set to send clock Here's one that is.
Thanks! Can you see the midi clock parameters as well?
Thanks! When you change the tap menu setting to Yes, does the menu appear on the MC6 ? Also, when testing, be sure to toggle out of editor mode
Yes....and all devices respond when tapping in tempo manually.
But it's not consistent...not doing it now

Yep. That was it. Seems to be responding fine now. Thanks for hashing this out with me.
