Hi, I'm relatively new to MIDI and am using my MC6 to control an H9, Panda Midi Future Impact (FI), and Source Audio C4. I think it's best if I explain what I want to do (and what's actually happening). I'm using the Web Editor. Love the product...but still not yet a big fan of MIDI. 1. I want to use Preset A (PstA) to activate and engage patches on my H9 and FI and am using the Preset B to engage a C4 preset. I have both presets set to blink. What I want to be able to do is have both blinking when both presets A & B are engaged. What happens now is that when I engage Preset A, it only blinks until I engage Preset B. When I select B, PstA stays engaged but stops blinking. Then when I select Preset A in order to disengage the H9/FI, I have to press twice--once to get PstA to blink again (and then PstB stops blinking) and then press PstA a second time to disengage it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. 2. I want to use an aux switch to set the tap tempo for my other midi pedals. I can get it to talk to the H9, but it doesn't seem to accurately reflect my tapping when I set it as a MIDI Tap message. Thanks!
Hi. Sorry I'm new to the MC6. I use it with my HX Stomp. I've set everything up like in the video to toggle FX on and off with the switches. So OD on switch 1 with #CC4, Distortion on switch 2 with #CC5, Chorus on switch 3 with #CC6, Delay on switch 4 with #CC7 etc... The problem is : let's say OD is on and Distortion is off. When I press switch 2 (distortion), it switches the distortion on BUT also switches the overdrive OFF. Same thing with the other switches. It seems like it disables the last that was used... What I am doing wrong? Thank you Eric
I want to be able to set the toggle state of presets in other banks. For reference, I'm running the Morningstar MC6 MKII and Axe FX MKII both in the latest firmware. My first bank is preset selection in the AXE FX and Tempo/Tuner control. The second bank individually controls certain effects in my AXE FX patches (reverb, delay bypass, etc). Regardless of how many effects I add in the second bank, when I click on one of the patches in my first bank, it goes back to the patch as I've programmed it (e.g. clean with one reverb and no delay). BUT - the second bank still shows the toggle state for those effects as active (i.e. Pos 1), meaning I have to click them twice to add them again onto my fresh patch. I know there is a way to set the toggle state in messages for presets within the same bank. I would like to be able to set the toggle state to inactive (i.e Pos 2) for all the individual effects in my second bank when I activate a patch change in my first bank. Is there a solution / work around for this? I have not been able to find a similar issue anywhere on this forum. Let me know if anything needs clarification, Thanks for reading, Jordan Robinson
